Stingray Is Focused on the Future
Always a step ahead, Stingray Internet Communications president Sherry
Auxier formed Stingray Design in 1995 to provide Web graphics, page layout
and consulting services to Philadelphia-based Internet promotions company
Realtime Media. An early success: Stingray helped introduce the first Click &
Win game on the Web, as well as the first "Scratch-Off" Instant Winner Web gaming
tickets using Java technologies. More success quickly followed as Stingray
established itself as one of the most effective Internet companies in the
marketplace.
Stingray has been named to the Baltimore Business Journal's Book of Lists as
a Top 25 Web Development Firm four years in a row since 1999. Since then, the
milestones have been fast and furious, from a partnership with Cornerstone
Advertising in 2000, Sherry Auxier being named to the board of directors for
the Casey Cares Foundation (for critically ill children and their families) in
2001 and the addition of Stingray's ingenious Interactive Marketing Division in
2002.
In 2003/2004, Stingray began a new division, Stingray Records, to serve the music entertainment industry.
As move forward through 2004, Stingray's sales continue to grow with increasing profit margins as the
scope of the business expands and the client base widens.
